Hello Crafty Friends!
Today I am back with another card inspired by Spooky Season and my old childhood picture books.
Today’s card features Stamps and Dies from Hello Bluebird

I remember being drawn to picture books with bright and colorful pages. I tried to capture some of that nastolgia using bright yellows and oranges, as well as deep purples and browns.

I first started by Die-cutting my scene dies from Bristol Smooth Card stock for easy ink blending application. I also cut my background panel with an A2 sized die. I ink blended the Dies and panel using Distress Oxide inks.

After ink blending, I put together my scene dies by gluing them to my background. As soon as I completed my spooky background, I began the coloring process By stamping out my fox 🦊 Image from the Good Fright Stamp set using Antique Linen Distress Ink on Arches watercolor paper. I used the smoother side of the paper so my stamp would create a clear impression. Using Faber Castell watercolor pencils, I colored my 🦊 fox. I also die cut and watercolored some Pumpkins using the Jack Dies to create some nice foreground for my scene.

I positioned my images and stamped out my sentiment. Finally I glued down my fox and Pumpkins and called my card finished!
