Hello Bluebird: Monochromatic Halloween Card
Hello Crafty Friend! It’s Marie!
The anticipation for spooky season is real! So today I’m here to share with you a spooky 👻 cute Halloween Card featuring stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird Stamps .
The first thing I did to make this card was pull out 3 different stamp sets from Hello Bluebird they are:
1. Banner Buddies And corresponding dies
3. Tabitha Stamps And Corresponding Dies
Additional Supplies Include:
1. Neenah Solar White Cardstock
2. Inkon3 Fadeout Ink
3. Black heavyweight card stock
4. Picket Fence Distress Ink
5. A2 sized stackable rectangle dies
6. Faber Castell Polychromos
7. Cuttle bug die cutting machine (discontinued)
8. Foam Squares
Step 1: I Stamped out all my images using Inkon3 fadeout ink on Neenah solar white cardstock to create the noline coloring look that I adore so much. I colored in all my stamps using Polychromos color pencils using grey tones and black.
Step 2: I die cut all my colored images, and I cut out my card base using an A2 sized die from black heavyweight card stock. I also created a white frame by taking the largest A2 sized die and combining it with the next size down, stacking them together into a frame and ran it through the die cutter.
Step 3: I used distress ink to ink up my background and I played around with my images to create a wreath using vines and greenery images from “Banner Buddies”. I used the pumpkins and a bat image from “Tabitha Stamp” to accentuate my wreath. Finally, I used the adorable ghost image from “Frightful little Bits” for the focal point of my card.
Step 4: I Glued down all the images and I used some foam squares to give certain images dimension.
And there you have it! A Cute Monochromatic Halloween card with the cutest little trick or treating ghost!
Until next time, happy Cardmaking!
